The Department of Psychiatry and Psychotherapy of the University of Pécs is dedicated to integrate education, research and patient care, in an effort to better the lives of those suffering from mental illness. Our Department has outstanding ongoing investigations in several research areas, including eating disorders, mood and anxiety disorders, suicidology, schizophrenia and psychotic disorders, psychiatric disorders of late life. We train medical students, residents and clinical and research fellows in the science and practice of psychiatry and psychotherapy. The Department provides the highest quality psychiatric and psychotherapeutic supply in the region.
